A week from tomorrow

... I will be Mrs. Harper. This is all so surreal, but I'm SO ready.

We're gonna get married!

June 12th or 13th is the set date of THIS year! Just a few weeks ago the plan was to not get married until summer of 2010. Now I'm getting married in 7.5 weeks time!

I decided today that I am going to be making Patrick a journal about all the holidays/birthdays he has/will miss since he's been in the Army. And I decided that I am going to get stickers for each holiday/birthday and snazzy up the pages in the journal. I've also been contemplating on whether to buy him something that represents each holiday/birthday. Such as the candles 2 and 0 for my birthday, and the candles 2 and 3 for his birthday that way we can celebrate everything in the span of the only two days I really get to spend with him this year. It's just a thought, but I think I might run by Wal Mart tonight and just buy some little bits of things to be a little more crafty on the idea.

I really want to make him happy and make him feel like he's not missing out on anything, when in reality he is missing out on so much.

wanting to use this to document things significant in my life more-so than myspace, facebook, or livejournal do. I've come to own one of each and I feel like I'm not as grounded as I could be. I'd like to keep this one more for pictures, but I say that with them all so we'll see what I actually pull off here.
